My husband and I owned a 1840's Greek revival farmhouse with barns on 43 acres. The local realtors came out and did a 10 minutes walk through of our home and said they could sell it next week for $500,00 to $550,000. They never looked at the barns, the resort style back yard with the outdoor shower, custom grill, kitchen and sauna, etc. They also neglected to consider that there was not only fresh water running through the back edge of the property, but water and electric to several fields which were producing hay.
